Od Odem is my 9 year old 110 lb best black & tan ever. I bought him from OD Owens out of Sulpher Oklahoma. OD the hound is no hunter, has not been trained to be a hunter and sometimes walks by coons at night without knowing it. Sometime cats too!
OD recently had two very serious operations in the brain area. The operations were performed by a critical care Vet Dr. Marino from Long Island Vet Specialists in Plainview, NY. Dr Marino, a surgon, perfected this operation removed a cancerous tumor over his right eye and top of his head. The tumor devoleped almost overnight and grew into a large bump on his head. He was in the hospital for the first operation for 3 days and 5 days (hopefully) for the second operation to remove cancer and clear up an infection that devoloped also. OD is supposed to come home tomorrow. OD is still not out of the woods as yet. He's the best Good Boy & I miss him and can't wait to get him back, we may even go looking for some coons, cats or whatever else we kick up on our first walk when he gets strong again. Wish him luck.
