To Whom It May Concern:This letter is to inform you of Hilljack Kennels'
Third Annual "Big Coon" Competition coming up in early November.
We had a terrific turnout of men, women and youth hunters last year
and expect the numbers to grow again this year. Last year we paid back
well over $300 in prize money to first, second and third, and gave prizes
back to 10th place. We had a terrific outpouring of corporate support
for our hunt & hope to see that continue
this year for another reason. We ask that any coon clubs spread the
word about this hunt to show their support for fellow hunters.
We are doing a special benefit this year for two local hunters. We are
seeking donations of prizes that we can give away in drawings. ALL proceeds
from the drawings will be split 50/50 between the two hunters, Mr. Conrad
and Mr. McDaniel. Mr. Conrad has been fighting cancer and Mr. McDaniel
was the victim of a near fatal accident. We encourage anyone who is
interested in helping us to help these fine gentlemen to contact us
as soon as possible. We will be happy to give donors a full accounting
of what funds were raised with the donations and how they were split.
We are working on our advertising for the hunt now and would like to
give credit to all who donate. Our flyers will be mailed out on September
20, 2002, so we need to hear from all those interested soon.
